Great French Country Experience

Had a great French country dining experience last week at Bistro Le Cep. Tastefully decorated in country style, prompt, experienced, friendly service, and then there's the food! Started with ...what else...Escargot perfectly done in the traditional style. Moved on to the classic French country dishes, Coq au Vin and Duck a l'Orange. The chicken was moist and tender in a thick wine gravy. The duck was perfectly done with a wonderful glaze. Finished with a nice peach cobbler. Two drinks, a nice bottle of Cote du Rhone, and dinner for two was $130 including tip. I thought it a very good value. And Chef/Owner Joe Mannke stops at ech table and chats...a true citizen of the world with a fascinating and far flung background. Will very much look forward to going back.
