Mark's American Cuisine is, without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Houston. It is located in an old church. It was beautifully restored to make it a very romantic setting. The wait staff is professional. Many have come from positions where they were general managers and other restaurant professionals. They know how to treat their customers. Chef Mark knows his way around a kitchen and definitely know how to prepare exquisite food. The wine list is extensive. The wine room is located where the church organ pines once were. You look up to it from the main dining room. When dining st Mark's prepare yourself for a leisurely dinner. Sit back and enjoy the experience.
