Perry's
Restaurant Group - grown from a single butcher shop
on Scarsdale in South East Houston to now over 8 dining locations
throughout Houston.
Known for their excellent steaks, Chris'
Perry has taken his father's concept and expanded it to become one
of Houston's premier places to dine for either the perfect power lunch
or a romantic evening with your significant other.
Having had almost everything on the menu
over the course of the last 17 years, I can
recommend ...... well, everything. Wednesday's lunch, the Pork Chop
is a tradition for many. Five fingers in height, this monster
chop is marinated and then slow roasted to perfection.
The pecan crusted snapper, Chicken Perry,
Seared Ahi Tuna (one of my favorites), Filet Perry's, they are all
great.
Perry's has a very unique appetizer you
must try. Fried Asparagus. It is served with lump crab meat and lemon.
My wife eats one order by herself (her favorite).
Salads (try the warm spinach or the "Pear
Salad"), soups, all are very good. Their breads are also
excellent.
Leave room for a classic dessert like
their signature Mont Blanc, Nutty DiAngelo or Banana's Foster created
table side.
Thumbs way, way up. Cost - Expect between
$75-$100 per couple.
Also, try their Italian grille in Clear
Lake on Pineloch.
